| Mr Soh Gim Teik was first appointed a director of the Company on 29 December 1999. He was last reappointed a director on 25 January 2007 and remained the Chairman of the Company’s Audit Committee. Mr Soh has more than 30 years of experience in accounting, finance and general management and holds a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the then University of Singapore (now the National University of Singapore). He is currently a non-practising member of the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Singapore (ICPAS) and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Directors. Besides serving as an independent director on the boards of other listed companies in Singapore, he also serves as the Chairman of the CFO Committee of ICPAS and is a member of the Professional Accountants in Business Committee of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC). Apart from commercial establishments, Mr. Soh also holds independent directorships in other charitable and non-profit organizations.
